UGANDA: Police gun at murder scene closes investigations
A POLICE GUN AT THE SCENE OF MURDER CLOSES INVESTIGATIONS
CHANGE OF GUARDS - Today morning Ugandans woke up to another incident of murder (September 6, 2019). Very few are shocked because such killings are the order of the day under the Museveni regime.
Obviously, like all other murder incidents, Ugandans don't expect any outcome from the sham criminal investigations. Moreover, as a rule of practice, they are not entitled to know what transpired. However, this time round the assailants have left a big clue that will at least make Ugandans know the source of arms that have been killing citizens.
An AK-47 riffle No.UG POL56-3100699022697 was left at the scene. The gun had 27 rounds and the victims suffered three bullets, making it 30 rounds which is a full magazine. Unless it is by coincidence, the three bullets that claimed the lives must have come from the same gun.
Since the same gun is clearly marked UG POL, there is no doubt it belongs to Uganda Police. Explaining how it ended up at the murder scene does not require complex investigations. Just a simple audit of records at the armoury will provide the answer. Otherwise, for now the Uganda Police is the prime suspect in the murder. As to whether the police investigate itself, your guess is as good as mine.
There you go.
INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
