UGANDA: Engola and Ecweru join list of "disgruntled" regime Northerners - PHOTOS

ENGOLA AND ECWERU JOIN LIST OF 'DISGRUNTLED' REGIME NORTHERNERS
"There are many of us in NRM when you do a small thing you think you should be treated as a special person. There are many of us in NRM who have accumulated unnecessary wealth because we think we are entitled. Abiriga has done what he has done but he remained humble. We as NRM need to humble ourselves. If we keep this sense of entitlement, we will ruin the country."
Minister Musa Ecweru addressing Parliament last month.
"But Mr. President, I want you to remember what Abiriga told you. Abiriga once told me that he was a very honest man. That he drove from Arua to Masindi and told you that he loves you and NRM more than anybody else in this country but that you the President, whenever somebody loves you, you don't love them back. The media has said that you have been avoiding him and you don't want to see him but he is gone, now take care of his children."
Former Minister and regime Vice Chairman for northern Uganda, Sam Engola during the burial of Abiriga last month.

According to Museveni, this is indiscipline of the highest order by such top regime cadres. It is subversion, disgruntlement, subterranean grumbling and speaking in the wrong forum. At worst, they could even be enemy agents. On the contrary, they are not supposed to publicly point out any wrong doing by Museveni. Instead they are supposed to heap praises on "the God-sent Museveni" who can't make mistakes.

He is keenly watching the trend that started with other top regime cohorts and will strike at the right time. The likes of Tanga Odoi, Ophono Opondo, Tony Owana, Mike Mukula and most recently, the whole figure-head regime Secretary General, Richard Tadwong.
"Corruption, greed, nepotism are the things that are making Ugandans more disgusted in the leadership of our party in government. If we can't restrain or control our greed in how we use public resources, how we steal with impunity, then Ugandans will push us out of power. The hills of Kampala are expanding with buildings but schools and hospitals are shrinking, so where do people get money from? And the owners of these buildings are Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Ministers and Directors, people are disgusted."

These "misguided elements" need to borrow from what Gen. Jim Muhweezi told Justice Ogola during the Global Fund inquiry in March 2006; ".....you are one of those people who were hiding under your beds when the rest were fighting."

INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
