UGANDA: What if @HEBobiWine was in possession of those guns? @JustinTrudeau @EmmanuelMacron

Hon. Zaake tortured to near death

WHAT IF BOBI WINE WAS IN POSSESSION OF THOSE GUNS???

The youthful Member of Parliament was arrested and tortured by the Museveni's army on Monday this week as he campaigned for an opposition candidate in a by-election. Pop Star Bobi Wine (MP Robert Kyagulanyi) has appeared before the military court and charged under the army UPDF Act with unlawful possession of firearms (two SMGs) and 36 live ammunition that was allegedly recovered from his hotel room in Arua town (Pacific Hotel).  He has been detained at the Makindye military Barracks where many have been tortured and died in the past and this information is irrefutable and readily available via a Google search.

Going by his wife's statement;
“My husband has never been in the military. He has no military experience and has never held a gun. I wonder why he is held there. What has he done to deserve this?"

Hon. Bobi Wine is not a security personnel. He is not an armed robber. He is not a cattle rustler. He is not a terrorist. He is not an arms dealer. Why then would he need not only one gun but two?

He is a musician and Member of Parliament who has hit the stage with political activism. Unfortunately, he is targeting the highly contested youth constituency which is reserved for Museveni's son and future president, Gen. Muhoozi. Hon. Bobi Wine is not the first to be subjected to the wrath of Museveni's security machinery for eyeing the presidency. Uganda has a population of about 41mln and 75% of them are youth and unemployed.  This means a lot of trouble for Museveni and Bobi Wine has hit the nerve.

Several other politicians have gone through similar and worst ordeals for eyeing the presidency. In particular, Dr. Besigye has been falsely accused of rape, illegal possession of arms, theft, terrorism and treason. He has persistently withered through more difficult times.

Obviously, the accusations of illegal possession of arms against Hon. Bobi Wine are concocted. The regime is determined to use all means to suppress political dissent. Unless Bobi were to act as Rambo, how would he use the two SMGs at ago!! Each SMG full magazine takes 30 rounds of ammunition but for the two SMGs that were allegedly recovered, it is only a total of 36 rounds of ammunition that were recovered. Why was Bobi Wine very mean in acquiring enough rounds of ammunition for his machines?

Assuming Bobi Wine was in possession of these guns, then they were in furtherance of his political activism. But why would he need them during campaigns in Arua and moreover in a hotel room!! His driver was shot dead by the police but the regime is silent on identifying the killer. When are they to charge him with the murder of his driver??

The issue of the guns comes in at a time when Ugandans have lost all hope of ever having a peaceful transfer of power. A time when the Museveni regime is monopolizing the use of violence against any form of political dissent. A time when disenchanted citizens are craving for change but have lost hope in peaceful means. A time when citizens would regard anyone who resorts to use of the gun in changing the status quo as a hero.

Therefore, much as Ugandans are condemning the concoction of the gun related charges against Bobi Wine, they would find solace in learning that he really had those guns. If it was to be true that he had guns, his political profile would shine more. The missing link in solving the current political equation is nothing but the gun.

"The great questions of the day will not be settled by means of speeches and majority decisions but by iron and blood."
Otto von Bismarck.

"Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun...... but war can only be abolished through war, and in order to get rid of the gun it is necessary to take up the gun."
Chairman Mao.

INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
