UGANDA: Coincidentally, both Kawesi and Kirumira have Rwandese 'Mbabazis' in their murder saga

COINCIDENTALLY' BOTH KAWESI AND KIRUMIRA HAVE RWANDESE 'MBABAZIS' IN THEIR MURDER SAGA

When police chief Kawesi was murdered, a Rwandese lady named Christine Mbabazi Umutoni emerged as having been his girlfriend. She claimed to have vital information pertaining to the murder. Her claims caused a lot of controversy that attracted Museveni's intervention. She has now sued the regime for confining her and restricting her freedom.

Last week, former District Police Commander, Mohammed Kirumira was shot together with another Rwandese lady, Resty Mbabazi Nalinya. Museveni has sent condolences worth Shs5m to the family that was given to her father, Mr Aloysius Kaitale (Kayitare in Kinyarwanda). The police Chief also sent condolences of Shs2 million to the family.

Unlike Kaweesi's Mbabazi who was spared, Kirumira's Mbabazi was 'silenced' and will therefore not cause any controversy. Both Kawesi and Kirumira were officially married men but had these Rwandese girl friends who feature in their mysterious murders. Unfortunately our journalists have not taken the trouble to probe Kirumira Mbabazi's profile and her relationship with Kirumira.

For over one year, Kawesi's Mbabazi has been maintained by the taxpayer's money. Now, Kirumira's Mbabazi's family has bagged Seven Million shillings of taxpayer's money. What is the criteria of the state giving monetary condolences to victims of murder? What qualified Kirumira Mbabazi's family to get seven million shillings from state coffers? The other day, a female student of Kyambogo was shot dead by police but the family even had difficulties to transport the body.

Well, on the surface of it, the featuring of these Rwandese Mbabazis may look a coincidence but a serious criminal investigator would unearth the magic behind.

INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
