MEET THE COMMANDER OF "KIRUHURA BRIGADE"

“Let me be quoted, I am number RO 27 in the army and we cannot allow Besigye or Mbabazi and other opposition candidates to come and disturb this district,”

While addressing locals at Kiruhura district headquarters on 30/8/2018 he said of the two M.Ps who were battered by Museveni's guards;

“Those who are pretending to be very sick are okay; I want to confirm to you that they were not badly injured. No one is disabled. But when media cameras or government officials are around, they pretend to be very weak. After pelting stones at the president’s car Museveni picked a radio and ordered soldiers not to shoot. If he had, not many people would have died at the scene, so you can see that our president was brought by God."

However, his reckless statement was immediately countered by Gen. Otafiire who was also at the same function and he warned against arrogance thus;

“You too, should go slow. There are some of you who are pompous and arrogant; you see the current situation and think you are on top of the world. This country has been here before you existed; it is here now and will be when you are long gone. Go slow. Let’s do what concerns us and leave what doesn’t to other people."

Col. Fred Mwesigye is a 'retired' army officer who joined the army in 1979 under Museveni"s FRONASA faction. He is among the batch that was taken to Cuba for military training during Binaisa's reign in 1980. Upon return he deserted the army and joined Museveni's Bush War becoming one of the original 27.

As Managing Director of the army's business arm, NEC, Col. Fred Mwesigye swept it clean before he ran it down. Attempts to make him account before the anti-corruption court was thwarted by interference from the top executive in the land. He retired from the army and became the M.P for Nyabushozi county in Kiruhura district.

One of his daughters is married to Museveni's young brother brother, Shadrach Nzeire. Col. Mwesigye is a top promoter of Museveni's life presidency scheme and the Muhoozi project. He is very treacherous, sectarian and always the architect of the violence against non-Bahima in Kiruhura during elections. In parliament, he is the Chairman of the strategic parliamentary committee of the Presidency. That way he faclitates State House's unlimitted expenditure and supplementary budgets, influences presidential donations, covers up for State House and SFC staff domination by Kiruhura residents and scholarships.

Col. Fred Mwesigye initiated and is the chief promoter of the idea that Kiruhura is the First District of Uganda because it is the home of Museveni. He aggressively opposes the existence of any resident of Kiruhura district harboring dissenting views from Musevenism. Such residents are subjected to harassment, ridicule, discrimination, arbitrary arrests, physical and psychological torture etc. This ensures the usual 100% vote for Museveni only in Kiruhura where there is usually no invalid votes or the sick, imprisoned, shifted or missed the voting!!!
