UGANDA: Why Museveni has deployed soldiers in Najjera (PHOTOS)

WHY MUSEVENI HAS DEPLOYED SOLDIERS IN NAJJERA

President Yoweri Museveni has deployed soldiers to reinforce police in securing Kampala city's area of Najjera in Kiira Division. The development follows the cold-blooded murder of businessman Archie Rwego in Najjera a few days ago.

Though there has been a consistent series of unresolved murders in different parts of Kampala city, Museveni had not directly deployed ground troops to secure any particular location of Kampala City.

WHY IN NAJJERA?
Najjeera is a component of Kira Municipality , the second largest urban center in Uganda, behind the capital city of Kampala, according to the 2014 national population census. Najjera is a bedroom community for the city of Kampala . Lying between the central business districts of Uganda's two largest urban centers; Kampala and Kira , the neighborhood is a rapidly growing area with upscale housing units and several apartment complexes under construction.

Together with its adjacent neighborhood of Kyanja in the neighboring Nakawa Division, the area has excelled as a new upscale part of the capital. It is overtaking the traditional upscale areas of Kololo, Nakasero, Naguru, Mbuya and Muyenga. The modern, complex and magnificent housing units in that area are owned by the Museveni regime cohorts. They are now worried that any breakdown of security in the area undermines their economic livelihood. That is why Museveni had to uniquely deploy ground troops to take over security.

To get a clear view of the housing complexes in that area, you just need to Google: Najjera housing.

Therefore, for any Ugandan who has been wondering as to where much of the public resources stolen by Museveni's cohorts end up, just visit Najjera and Kyanja and you will be amazed.

INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
