By CHANGE OF GUARDS
On the eve of the 2021 Valentine's Day, Uganda's military dictator gave a national address where he sent two messages to his citizens and 'foreigners' respectively.
TO CITIZENS
"The talk of disappearances should be ignored......we brought a distinguished unit of Commandos from Somalia. This Commando group quickly defeated the terrorists who wanted to disturb elections. They killed some and arrested some of these terrorists. For instance, upon deployment, CMI arrested some criminals and that explains some disappearances."
The citizens had sent him their outcries with regard to the ongoing rampant summary executions, kidnaps and torture of citizens. They had anticipated that as the fountain of honor, he would give reassurance over their despair.
TO FOREIGNERS
"I want to comment on excitement caused by some foreigners trying to interfere in our affairs. I read in the newspapers about the EU Parliment sanctioning some Ugandans from travelling. For anybody to think that Africans are dying to go to Europe is something that shows lack of seriousness."
The EU Parliment has overwhelmingly passed a resolution imposing travel sanctions on individuals and organisations responsible for human rights violations. Like all other African despots, of recent he has stepped up accusations against the so-called foreigners for interference in Uganda's Internal affairs.
Enjoy the Valentine's Day but the worst is yet to come now that he has given his security goons a blank cheque.
INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
