IS IT MUSEVENI OR HIS SECURITY GOONS BEHIND THE REPRESSION OF UGANDANS??
CHANGE OF GUARDS - There is an upsurge in violent curtailing of political dissent targeting Ugandans and the opposition activists in particular. The police and its security agencies hiding behind the police have renewed their determination to brutally curtail political freedom. While the recent events in Aligeria and Sudan have re-energizing the resolve of Ugandans to free themselves from the bondage of Musevenism, his security apparatus has stepped up its repression. Freedom of assembly, expression and movement is being aggressively curtailed. Museveni is promoting his son, Gen. Muhoozi's bid for inheritance of the presidency. From a state sponsored lavish Birthday fete at a the topmost lakeside resort, Gen. Muhoozi has continued to preside over public functions where he dishes out millions of taxpayer's money. Gullible Ugandans will as usual express shock if one morning Gen. Muhoozi is declared to have 'retired' from the army and his presidential bid declared!!!!
A section of gullible Ugandans are pointing a fingers at the 'police' in particular for the brutal campaign of suppressing dissent. Musician turned politician, Hon. Bobi Wine has even composed a song appealing to members of the security forces not to harass him. The plain truth is that it is only Museveni as President and Commander-In-Chief (CIC) who sanctions any form of brutal suppression of political dissenters and leaders of the opposition in particular.
Whether it is invading Parliament by soldiers to beat up M.Ps, raiding of courts by commandos to reverse court decisions, brutally arresting and detaining some top opposition leaders, blocking of Bobi Wine's music shows, switching off of private radio stations hosting opposition leaders, violent breakup of opposition rallies and meetings, or the targeted kidnap, arrests and detention of youthful opposition activists, it is only Museveni who approves such decisions. He guarantees his security goons of immunity from reprimand and potential legal proceedings. He publicly applauds and rewards those security goons who excel in brutal suppression of dissent.
Therefore, political repression of Ugandans will only end with the end of Musevenism. On the contrary, the worst is in the offing.
INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
